Review: Miss Sarajevo

3 stars (out of 5)

By JT Griffith, All Music Guide

This CD single was the only one released from U2's 1995 side-project album Passengers. Miss Sarajevo was released as a benefit for Warchild. It contains three non-LP tracks, including one previously unreleased studio song, one remix, and one live song. The studio track is "Viva Davidoff" and the remix is "Bottoms (Watashitachi No Ookina Yume) (Zoo Station Remix)" which is from the Passengers CD and sounds more like a remix of "Zoo Station." The live track here is "One" and was recorded a Warchild benefit concert on September 12, 1995. It includes a full orchestration by Craig Armstrong and conducted by Michael Kamen. This CD single is a great companion to the One CD single, both of which donated funds to charities and had striking album covers.
